It is absolutely essential that, if you are going to place a tenant into your home, that you are properly insured so that your property is safely covered for damage by the tenant. You will NOT be living in the house, your tenant will be.

1. The rebuilding of the property following loss or damage caused by fire, aircraft, smoke, malicious persons (including tenants)

We are fortunate that WA post codes are in a low cost area and we are able to offer the full cover for buildings for only £1.90 per £1000 of cover plus 5% insurance premium tax. i.e. House valued at £100,000 would be insured for just 100 x 1.90 = £190.00 +5% ipt =£199.50
House valued at £155,500 would be insured for just 155.5 x 1.9 = £295.45+5% ipt =£310.22
To enjoy the benefit of the limited contents cover at item (6) simply add £63.00 to the buildings premium
Payment is possible annually or monthly by direct debit

Fire, Lightning, Aircraft, Explosion, Smoke, Impact, Burst pipes or leakage of oil, storm or flood.
Accidental breakage of mirrors, glass in furniture or ceramic hobs up to £500.00

Public liability
Loss of rent up to 20% of the sum insured if the cause renders the property uninhabitable.

This policy requires annual payment which may be paid through your account with us.
If £30,000 of cover is too much, we are able to offer cover for £10, 000 of contents value for a fixed amount of £73.50 which would still include full liability insurance against injury to the tenant or member of the public.
